The Book

"My name is Poppy,

and I may be small,

but I have a big question,

the biggest of all.

Is God always with me,

or does He take a break?

When I go to sleep,

is God still awake?"

International recording artist, TV host, Bible teacher and best-selling author with almost six million books sold has released a new children's book that is exceptional.

Poppy, an adorable curious little girl, asks questions that many little ones wonder about, such as:  'Does God hear a whisper or do we have to shout?', 'Can He hear our thoughts?, and 'Does God see my dreams?', just to name a few.  She proposes many other questions as she goes throughout her day.  Poppy is on a mission to discover if and when God is available and willing to interact with her as she journeys along.

Poppy makes a very important life changing discovery.  She learns that God is omnipotent and omnipresent meaning ... He is with her no matter the time of day or night and no matter where she is or what she is doing.  She receives and settles that truth in her heart.  God indeed is wide awake.  He never takes a time out. He listens and loves her unconditionally every single second of her day even when she is snuggled in her bed sound asleep. Father God is tenderly and lovingly  watching over her always.

This inspiring and comforting book with its beautiful rhyming text and stunning illustrations assures children that God loves them and is there for them any time they reach out to Him.  He adores little children, loves to hear them speak, and loves interacting with them.

The author sums it up perfectly...

“It’s my prayer that in this rapidly changing world, children would be reminded of the love and care of God and that they can talk to Him on their best days and on their most difficult,” said Walsh. “He is always just a prayer away.”

To her summation I say AMEN!  I love the book and highly recommend it. It is definitely one to add to your collection.
