Another wonderful book for your reviewing pleasure

Here is another book by Jamie Lee Curtis. All her books are outstanding snd highly recommended. This is especially wonderful to give as a gift to a family who has just adopted their precious child.

Ages: 7-8
Title: Tell Me Again about the Night I was Born
Author: Jamie Lee Curtis

This is a sweet and happy book about adoption that combines wit with candor. The child asks her mother, “tell me again how you carried me like a china doll all the way home and how you glared at anyone who sneezed.” She also asks, “tell me again how you couldn’t grow a baby in your tummy, so another woman who was too young to take care of me was growing me.” The book radiates love and reassurance to the child and the fabulous watercolor pictures are crammed with amusing visual aids. This book affirms family love and how children feel such a sense of security and pleasure hearing about their own personal life story again and again. This story will touch your heart as you experience not only how one child is born but also how a family is born. Both stories were chosen to show thankfulness and gratitude for our own families.
