Summer reading fun

I will try to search out some good summer reading material to enhance your child's summer experiences. This little book is a classic Dr. Suess from the Beginner Book series. It is a wonderful little story, told in rhyme, to capture the heart and soul of the season. The story is told through the eyes of a little girl, boy, and their dog. It was originally published in 1963 and you find the summer truths expressed then still hold true now. The author is Alice Low and Roy McKie. There is a companion book to Summer which is Winter (but who wants to think about sinter just now). :)

Read on.
