My New Best Friend is my new favorite book. It teaches self-compassion in such an engaging, fun, beautiful way. This is a wise and heart felt book.”

About the book...

This wonderful book has such a positive message to share with kids.  It encourages kids to treat themselves as they would treat others who are going through a hard time... with kindness, respect and understanding.  "My New Best Friend" invites kids to discover self-compassion and put an end to inner bullying thus building positive self-esteem and a strong sense of well-being both inside and out.  Often we are our own worst enemies.

The little girl in the book finds a new best friend that is always there for her (and always has been), gives her incredible comfort, inspires her and offers her unconditional love.  She realizes she never has to be alone again and that her new friend will be her constant companion for a lifetime.

The illustrations are perfect for the message of the book.  The beautiful revelation is that they will be best friends forever. Study the simple, powerful illustrations and see if you can guess who the little girl's best friend turns out to be.  You can have a best friend  who loves you very much too.
