Unwrapping Some Amazing Illustrations for You
Unwrapping the Story
Nancy has been waiting for Hallowe'en night so she can dress up fancy and go trick or treating. She has chosen to be the Sugar Plum Fairy which allows her to be very fancy indeed.
She, her dad, and her sister are off into the spooky night. Before they go out the door her Mom tells her not to over indulge on her goodies. But Nancy doesn't heed her Mom's warning and turns into a candy monster. She keeps eating the candies that are so generously given to her. Oh oh! Nancy should have listened to her Mom because eating loads of candy has consequences.
Nancy learns a very valuable lesson.... too much of a good thing oftentimes isn't good for you! The illustrations are truly amazing. They are colourful, detailed and just make the whole story come alive. I love the fact that Nancy uses big words and then defines them for the young readers often using French words to expand vocabularies. Fans of the Fancy Nancy books will delight in this Hallowe'en tale and an extra added bonus is the the book comes complete with stickers! I highly recommend this book and all the other Fancy Nancy books.
