Out with the old, and in with the new! Chicago's beloved family musician Tunes with Tim (a.k.a. Tim Bredrup) and acclaimed organic baby and children's clothing company Monica + Andy invite kids and grownups alike to ring in the New Year with a free, livestreamed "Noon Year's Eve Party" and Annual Balloon Drop on Thursday, December 31 at 11:30 a.m. CST.
Families are encouraged to grab milk, hot chocolate, or their favorite treats and dress in their formal best for the festivities, which will feature a performance by Tunes with Tim, followed by a noon countdown and toast to 2021.
Tunes with Tim's Tim Bredrup will perform as a "one-man-band" playing a variety of instruments, including acoustic guitar, electric guitar, mandolin, ukulele, banjo, piano, harmonica, kazoo, shaker, djembe drum, foot tambourine, and pedal cajon drum, some of which will be played simultaneously! To celebrate the end of 2020 and welcome 2021, he'll offer a variety of family-friendly, interactive songs, from nursery rhymes to Beatles tunes.
“Make sure to have your own drum handy, so you can play along at home to a special interactive, call-and-response drum jam during the show," says Tim Bredrup. "I can't wait to show off my tuxedo, say goodbye to 2020, and ring in the New Year with music, sweet music!"
January 15 will mark the release of the second Tunes with Tim kids'/family album, We're All Human.
Produced, engineered, and mixed by Grammy-nominated Jamie Candiloro (R.E.M., The Eagles, Ryan Adams, Willie Nelson) and mastered by Grammy-winning Scott Hull (Sting, Steely Dan, Dave Matthews, John Mayer), We're All Human features 11 original songs loaded with Tim Bredrup’s characteristic Chicago friendliness, in styles ranging from pop, rock, and jazz to world and hip-hop.
Meet Tim Bredrup
Praised as a "Chicago V.I.P.," Tim Bredrup is a true renaissance man of music, who began classical piano training at age three and has since become a whiz on the guitar, bass, mandolin, ukulele, and drums/percussion. He even sings barbershop quartet and also performs regularly with his “adult band" Fletcher Rockwell. Since 2013, as Tunes with Tim, he has been using his wide repertoire of original & classic songs to inspire families to sing, play, and dance together, while teaching the basics of music. What all these activities have in common is that Tim thrills to the chance of inspiring others to love music as much as he does.

I put hours of work finding the best kid's books to review for you each day. If you enjoy visiting Storywraps and would like to donate something for my time and effort I would greatly appreciate it.
Go to the top of my blog at the right hand corner (below my photo) and please donate what you feel lead to give. The amount you donate and the frequency you donate is totally up to you.
I also have added a new button... ko-fi.com/storywraps Simply buy me a cup of coffee if you would rather. That would be fun. Coffee and blogging go together like two peas in a pod as I'm always brewing up something here on Storywraps.
I thank you in advance for your support. I adore what I do and would appreciate any amount that you may give so that I can make our Storywraps' community more thriving and exciting. Thanks a million! Books bind us together.
